^ 1986 Corvette - The 1986 Corvette Shop Manual provides very limited information on headlamp switch replacement. We have, therefore, provided a removal procedure that can be used.

a) Disconnect battery ground cable.

b) Remove light switch knob (spring loaded) and steering wheel tilt lever.

c) Remove cluster bezel from I.P.

d) Remove light switch nut.

e) Remove fuse panel cover and I.P. right side trim plate.

f) Remove I.P. pad.

g) Disconnect electrical connector from headlamp switch.

h) Refer to Section II for inspection and reinstallation procedure.
