Disassemble

1. Remove five pump bolts, per figure.

2. Remove reverse boost valve retaining ring. Regulator spring is tightly compressed. Use care when removing retaining ring.

3. Remove pressure regulator and boost valve assemblies.

4. Remove converter limit valve assembly, pin, plug, spring and valve.

5. Remove torque converter clutch enable valve assembly, sleeve, spring and valve.

6. Remove torque converter clutch valve assembly, snap ring, plug, valve, spring, plug and pin.

7. Inspect markings of gear faces and chamfer of gear teeth before removing gears to ensure gears were installed correctly, then remove pump drive gear and driven gear.

8. Remove seal rings and selective thrust washer.

9. Remove pump to case seal ring.

10. Clean all components.
