A noise or vibration that is noticeable when the vehicle is in motion may not be cause by the transmission.A noise or vibration that is noticeable while the vehicle is in the P (Park) or the N (Neutral) position with the engine at idle, but is less noticeable as the RPM increases, may be the result of poor engine performance.
