Clutch: Service and Repair


REMOVAL
1. Remove transmission assembly.
2. Remove clutch cover bolts, clutch cover, then clutch disc by holding flywheel stationary using flywheel holder No. J35271 or equivalent.
3. Remove input shaft bearing using bearing remover No. J34839 or equivalent.

INSTALLATION
1. Install flywheel to crankshaft using flywheel holder No. J35271 or equivalent if flywheel has been removed for service. Tighten bolts to specifications
2. Install input shaft bearing to flywheel using driver handle No. J7079-2 and pilot bearing installer No. J34848 or equivalent.
3. Install clutch cover by aligning clutch disc to flywheel center using clutch center guide No. J37761 and flywheel holder No. J35271 or equivalent.
4. Tighten clutch cover bolts to specifications, then install transmission.
