1. Remove rear case attaching bolts, then the rear case.
2. Remove clutch release bearing.
3. Remove clutch housing attaching bolts, then the clutch housing.
4. Remove input shaft bearing retainer attaching bolts, then the input shaft bearing retainer using two 6mm bolts, Fig. 1.
5. Remove ten upper case attaching bolts, then separate upper and lower case assemblies using case separator tool No. J37637, Fig. 2.
6. Remove input and mainshaft assembly from lower case, Fig. 3.
