Throttle Position Switch: Adjustments

Throttle Switch Adjustment:

Throttle Switch:

1. Remove electrical connector from throttle switch.
2 Loosen two (2) fasteners at throttle switch.
3. Insert, 0.70 mm (0.0276") feeler gauge between the throttle stop screw and throttle lever,
4. Using DVM check for continuity between "E2" and "IDL" terminals of throttle switch.
5. Insert 0.80 mm (0.0315"). You should have no continuity.
6. Rotate the throttle switch if necessary to adjust.
7. Tighten fasteners.
8. Reconnect electrical connector.
