1. On all models equipped with the SIR or inflatable restraint systems, disable system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG DEACTIVATION before performing any repair procedures on or near steering column.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Remove meter hood.
4. Remove meter cluster, then the two attaching clips from wiper/washer switch harness.
5. Remove four switch attaching screws, then the switch with illumination bulb.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
7. On all models equipped with the SIR or inflatable restraint systems, enable system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG ACTIVATION.
