Drive Belt: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Rotate serpentine belt tensioner pulley clockwise to release tension from belt using a 3/8 drive socket wrench.
2. Remove serpentine belt from pulleys.

INSTALLATION
1. Route serpentine belt around all pulleys as shown in Fig. 37.
2. Rotate tensioner pulley away from drive belt and install drive belt to tensioner pulley.
3. Return tensioner to its original position and remove socket wrench.
