Fluid - M/T: Service and Repair

PROCEDURE
Check the fluid level only when the engine is off, the vehicle is level and the transaxle is cool enough to rest your fingers on the transaxle case.

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove filler plug.
3. Fluid level should be at the bottom of the filler hole, add fluid if necessary.
4. Apply Loctite(R) GM P/N 1052080 or equivalent to the fill plug threads, install and tighten to 28 Nm (20 ft lbs).
