Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL:

1. Disconnect throttle position sensor connector.
2. Remove throttle position sensor attaching screws and retainers.
3. Remove throttle position sensor from throttle body.

INSTALLATION:

1. With throttle valve in the normal closed idle position, install throttle position sensor on throttle body assembly.
2. Install retainers and two TPS screws. Tighten screws to 2 N-m (18 lb. in.).
3. Connect TPS electrical connector.
