Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Adjustments

1. Remove intake air duct from the air cleaner assembly.

2. Remove air breather tube from air cleaner assembly. Separate air cleaner assembly halves.

3. Loosen P/N safety switch retaining screws.

4. Set the selector lever in the Neutral postion.

5. Insert a pin into the adjustment holes in both the P/N safety switch and the switch lever. Tighten P/N switch retaining screws to 3 N-m (26 lb. in.).

6. Install air breather tube onto the air cleaner assembly.

7. Install intake air duct onto the air cleaner assembly.
