Wiper Motor: Testing and Inspection

FRONT

Lo & Hi Speed
1. Connect battery positive to wiper motor BLU terminal and battery negative to BLK lead, Fig. 6. Motor should run 45-55 RPM.
2. Connect battery positive to wiper motor BLU/RED terminal and battery negative to BLK lead, Fig. 6. Motor should run 68-78 RPM.

Auto Stop
1. Connect battery positive to wiper motor YEL/BLU terminal and battery negative to BLK lead, Fig. 7.
2. Jumper BLU/WHT terminal to BLU terminal, Fig. 7. Motor should stop at a given position conforming to start position. Repeat this step several times to ensure motor stops in same position.

REAR

Motor Test
Connect battery positive to wiper motor ORN terminal and battery negative to BLK lead, Fig. 8. Motor should run at 45-55 RPM.

Auto Stop
Connect battery positive to wiper motor YEL/BLU terminal and battery negative to BLK lead, Fig. 8. Use a jumper wire to short ORN and BLK/GRN terminals to each other to ensure that motor shaft stops at a given position.
