1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly.
2. Remove ball joint stud to steering knuckle pinch bolt, Fig. 7 .
3. Remove control arm bracket nut, then remove bracket bolts.
4. Remove control arm and bracket.
5. If control arm bushing is to be replaced, proceed as follows:
a. Remove lower control arm as outlined under Lower Control Arm, Replace.
b. Press rear bushing from control arm, Fig. 7 .
c. Cut flange off front bushing, then press front bushing from control arm, Fig. 8 .
d. Apply soap and water to outer surface of front bushing, then press front bushing into control arm until it is centered.
e. Position rear bushing to control arm, then drive bushing into control arm, Fig. 9 and 10 .
6. Reverse procedure to install.
