Front Disc Brakes
DESCRIPTIONThe caliper is a single bore design and is mounted to a carrier assembly.
OPERATION
Hydraulic pressure, created by applying brake pedal, is converted by caliper to a stopping force. This force acts equally against the piston and bottom of caliper bore to move the piston outward and to slid caliper inward resulting in a clamping action on the rotor. The clamping action forces linings against the rotor, creating friction necessary to stop the vehicle.
