Blower Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Push left and right instrument panel compartment stoppers inward, then pull compartment out of instrument panel.
3. Remove two instrument panel compartment hinge pins, then the compartment front the instrument panel.
4. Disconnect blower motor and resistor electrical connectors.
5. Remove two screws, two electrical connectors and relay bracket from blower case.
6. Disconnect Fresh / Recirc air control cable from blower case.
7. Remove wiring harness from guide brackets on blower case.
8. Remove blower case from vehicle by removing two upper retaining bolts and one lower unit.
9. Remove blower motor cooling duct.
10. Remove three blower motor to case attaching screws.
11. Remove blower motor.
12. Reverse procedure to install.
