Tool Required: J 6627-A Wheel Stud Remover

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to General Vehicle Lifting and Jacking in General Information.

2. Front tires/wheels. Refer to Wheel Removal in Tires and Wheels.

3. Brake caliper and caliper carrier. Refer to Caliper Carrier in Front Disc Brakes.

4. Locking hub (four-wheel drive models). Refer to Locking Hubs-Four Wheel Drive Models.

5. Hub end cap (two-wheel drive models).

6. Brake rotor from wheel hub. Refer to Brake Rotor in Front Disc Brakes.

7. Wheel hub (ABS equipped). Refer to Wheel Hub and Bearing.

8. Reluctor ring (ABS equipped). Refer to Reluctor Ring in Antilock Brake System.

9. Install a wheel stud nut onto the wheel stud.

10. Wheel stud from hub using J 6627-A.
