Ignition Control Module: Service and Repair

Left Rear Of Engine Compartment:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative (-) battery cable.
2. Ignition Control Module (Igniter) electrical connector.
3. Two screws and igniter from mounting bracket.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Two screws and igniter to mounting bracket.
2. Igniter electrical connector
3. Negative (-) battery cable. Tighten negative (-) battery cable-to-negative (-) battery terminal retainer to 15 Nm (11 lb. ft.).
