Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM):





Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative (-) battery cable. Refer to Battery.
2. Two screws, electrical connectors and junction box from I/P.
3. Lamp driver relay electrical connectors.
4. Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) electrical connectors.
5. Three bolts and remove both EBCM and lamp driver relay from vehicle.

Install or Connect
1. EBCM and lamp driver relay to vehicle; secure with three bolts.
^ Tighten bolts to 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.)

2. EBCM electrical connectors.
3. Lamp driver electrical connectors.
4. Junction block to I/P, reconnect all electrical connectors, then secure with two screws.
5. Negative (-) battery cable.
