REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative (-) battery cable. Cut electrical tape that secures diode module to main wire harness (the diode module is located under the glove box next to the cigarette lighter).
2. Diode module from main wire harness and from connector.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Diode module into connector and to main wire harness; secure with electrical tape.
2. Negative (-) battery cable. Tighten battery cable-to-negative (-) battery terminal retainer to 5.5 Nm (4 lb. ft.)..
