Spring Adjustment

LSPV Load Sensing Spring Measurement:






PRE-ADJUSTMENT CONDITIONS
^ The following conditions must be met before proceeding:
^ Fuel tank must be full.
^ Vehicle must have spare tire, tools, jack, and jack handle installed.
^ Vehicle is free from any other load.
^ Vehicle is on a level (horizontal) floor.

PROCEDURE
1. Push up the Load Sensing Pressure Valve (LSPV) lever until it contacts stopper bolt and hold it.
2. Measure the length of load sensing spring. Length of load sensing spring: 99 mm (3.89 inch).
3. To adjust length of the load sensing spring, loosen the load sensing spring lower bolt (at suspension arm bracket) and adjust length.
4. Retorque bolt after setting load sensing spring length to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).
