Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative (-) battery cable.
2. CKP sensor electrical connector.
3. One bolt and CKP sensor from the oil pan.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. CKP sensor to oil pan secure with one bolt. Tighten CKP bolt to 15 Nm (11 lb. ft.).
2. CKP sensor electrical connector.
3. Negative (-) battery cable. Tighten negative (-) battery cable-to-negative (-) battery terminal to 15 Nm (11 lb. ft.).
