Hose Between The Vacuum Tank and The Heater Controls:

Prelude Vent SystemPROBLEM

While accelerating at full throttle for 10 seconds or more, the ventilation setting changes from FRESH to RECIRC, and the heater setting changes from VENT to HEAT/DEF.

CAUSE

The heater control system is losing vacuum.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Cut the hose between the vacuum tank and the heater controls, and put a check valve in it. Make sure the orange side of the check valve is facing the tank.
