Fuel Filler Cap: Description and Operation

Fuel Filler Cap:

The fuel filler cap, located on the left rear fender above the rear wheel, is designed to prevent fuel vapors from escaping into the atmosphere. It uses a built in relief valve which also introduces outside air into the tank when negative pressure is present to prevent the fuel tank from collapsing.
