SRS SYSTEM NO. 3 FUSE BLOWN OR OPEN IN WIREFig. 1 Driver Side Short Connector Location:
1. Inspect fuse 3 (located in underdash fuse box). If blown, replace fuse, then turn ignition switch On. If fuse does not blow, proceed to step 2. If fuse blows, troubleshoot as necessary to find short.
2. Disconnect the battery negative and positive terminals, then connect the short connector to the airbag assembly, Fig. 1.
3. Connect test harness B between SRS system unit and main harness connector.
4. Connect battery positive and negative terminals.
5. With ignition switch on, measure voltage between B13 terminal and a body ground. If there is battery voltage, SRS unit is defective. Replace as necessary. If less than battery voltage exists, main harness is defective. Replace as necessary.
