SRS units from three different manufacturers (DE, NEC, TAKATA) are used for the Accord. The type of SRS unit installed depends on the body type of the car. Before troubleshooting, confirm the SRS unit type by its shape and part number (see the label on top of the unit), because the DTC indications and troubleshooting procedures change with the type of the unit. The SRS unit threshold values for deploying the airbags are different for each body type; when replacing a unit, make sure to replace it with a unit of the same type.
