Cruise Control Servo Cable: Service and Repair

Actuator/Cable Replacement

1. Disconnect 4-P electrical connector from actuator.
2. Remove mounting bolt and nut, then remove actuator with bracket.
3. Disconnect EVAP purge control solenoid valve from actuator, then disconnect vacuum hose.
4. Remove three nuts from actuator, then remove actuator cable from actuator rod.
5. Loosen locknut, then disconnect actuator from throttle linkage.
6. Reverse procedure to install, adjust actuator cable as necessary.
