Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Description and Operation

DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
The ECT Sensor is a temperature dependant resistor (thermistor). The resistance of the thermistor decreases as the engine coolant temperature increases as shown above.
