Seats: Description and Operation
2-way Adjustable SeatPower is provided at all times through fuse 2 (in the passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box) to the power seat adjustment switch. When you move the switch to DOWN, power is supplied to the height motor through the power seat adjustment switch. The height motor is grounded through the UP contact of the power seat adjustment switch. The motor will run until you release the switch or the seat reaches the full down position. The contacts for UP operation of the driver's seat adjustment switch are wired the opposite way of the DOWN contacts, causing the motor to run in the opposite direction.
8-way Adjustable Seat
Power is provided at all times through fuses 2 and 4 (in the passenger 5 under-dash fuse/relay box) to the power seat adjustment switch.
Front Up/Down
When you move the front up-down switch to DOWN, power is supplied to the front up-down motor through the power seat adjustment switch. The front up-down motor is grounded through the UP contact of the front up-down switch. The motor will run until you release the switch or the seal reaches the full front down position. The contacts for UP operation of the front up-down switch are wired the opposite way of the DOWN contacts, causing the motor to run in the opposite direction.
Slide
Slide operation is similar to the front up-down operation.
Rear Up-Down
Rear up-down operation is similar to the front up-down operation.
Recline
Recline operation is similar to the front up-down operation.
