Power Door Lock Actuator: Testing and Inspection

Door Lock Actuator Test

Driver's Door:

1. Remove the driver's door panel.




2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the actuator (B).




3. Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table. To prevent damage to the actuator, apply battery voltage only momentarily.
4. If the actuator does not operate as specified, replace it.

Passenger's Door:

1. Remove the front passenger's door panel.




2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the actuator (B).




3. Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table. To prevent damage to the actuator, apply battery voltage only momentarily.
4. If the actuator does not operate as specified, replace it.

Left Sliding Door:

1. Remove the left sliding door panel.




2. Disconnect the connector (A) from the actuator.




3. Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table. To prevent damage to the actuator, apply battery voltage only momentarily.
4. If the actuator does not work as specified, replace it

Right Sliding Door:

1. Remove the right sliding door panel.




2. Disconnect the connector (A) from the actuator.




3. Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table To prevent damage to the actuator, apply battery voltage only momentarily.
4. If the actuator does not work as specified, replace it.
