Variable Induction Control Valve: Service and Repair
IMRC Valve Replacement1. Remove the intake manifold.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hose (A).
3. Remove the bolts (B).
4. Remove the IMRC actuator assembly (C).
NOTE:
- When installing the IMRC actuator, make sure the bearing (E) is in place.
- Make sure the IMRC assembly does not interfere with the intake manifold (F).
- When installing the IMRC actuator, replace the new O-rings (D).
5. Install the IMRC actuator assembly (A) so that the hole (B) is visible.
6. Turn the IMRC actuator assembly (A), and align the bolt holes.
NOTE: When turning the IMRC actuator assembly, make sure the stop (B) fits in to the groove (C).
