Removal and Installation

Blower Unit Removal and Installation

4-door

1. Remove the glove box, and the passenger's kick panel.




2. Remove the connector clips (A), the wire harness clip (B), and bolt. Cut the plastic cross brace (C) in the glove box opening with diagonal cutters in the area shown. Retain these parts to be reinstalled later.




3. Disconnect the connectors (A) from the blower motor, and the recirculation control motor, then remove the wire harness clip (B). Remove the mounting nuts, the mounting bolts and the blower unit (C).
4. Install the unit in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that there is no air leakage.

2-door

1. Remove the glove box, and the passenger's kick panel.




2. Remove the connector clips (A), the wire harness clip (B), and bolt. Cut the plastic cross brace (C) in the glove box opening with diagonal cutters in the area shown. Retain these parts to be reinstalled later.




3. Disconnect the connectors (A) from the blower motor, and the recirculation control motor. Remove the mounting nuts, the mounting bolts and the blower unit (B).
4. Install the unit in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that there is no air leakage.
