Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
CKP Sensor Replacement 1.
Remove the cylinder head cover.
2.
Remove the crankshaft pulley.
3.
Remove the grommet (A) from the upper cover (B), and disconnect the TDC sensor connector (C).
4.
Remove the upper cover and lower cover (D).
5.
Disconnect the CKP sensor connector, then remove the CKP sensor (A) from the oil pump
6.
Install the sensor in the reverse order of removal.
