In-Bed Trunk Lid

In-Bed Trunk Lid Removal/Installation

NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the in-bed trunk lid.
- Have an assistant help you when removing and installing the in-bed trunk lid.

1. Open the in-bed trunk lid.
2. Remove the in-bed trunk lid inner cover.




3. Disconnect the in-bed trunk lid latch actuator connector (A), in-bed trunk lid opener switch connector (B), and cylinder switch connector (C).




4. Remove the bolts, then remove the in-bed trunk lid anchor cables (A) from the in-bed trunk lid (B) and in-bed trunk lid hinges (C).




5. Detach the cable and wire harness clips (A).




6. Remove the bolts, then remove the in-bed trunk lid (A) by pulling out the in-bed trunk lid anchor cables (B) and in-bed trunk lid subharness (C).
7. Install the in-bed trunk lid in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Make sure the anchor cables and subharness are routed properly.
- Make sure each connector is plugged in properly.
