Front Passenger's Seat Base Cover Is Loose
SYMPTOM
The recline cover on the base of the front passenger's seat is loose.
PROBABLE CAUSE
The clip on the cover is not strong enough to hold it in place.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace the clip with an improved part, or replace both the cover and the clip if the cover is damaged.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Remove the recline cover:
^ Refer to page 20-108 of the 2007-2008 Element Service Manual, or
^ Online, enter keywords FRONT SEAT, and select Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement from the list.
2. Inspect the cover for damage:
^ If the cover is not damaged, replace the silver trim clip with a new black clip, and reinstall the cover (do not replace it).
^ If the cover is damaged, replace it (it already has the new clip attached).
