DTC B2030: Left Power Sliding Door Pinch Sensor Signal ErrorNOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.
1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
2. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
3. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B2030 indicated?
YES - Go to step 4.
NO - Intermittent failure. The power sliding door system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections at the left power sliding door control unit connector, and at the left power sliding door pinch sensor connector.
4. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
5. Disconnect the 2P connector from the left power sliding door pinch sensor.
6. Measure resistance between the left power sliding door pinch sensor 2P connector No. 1 and No. 2 terminals.
Is there 1.1 kohms or more?
YES - Replace the left power sliding door pinch sensor.
NO - Go to step 7.
7. Disconnect the 22P connector from the left power sliding door control unit.
8. Check for continuity between the left power sliding door control unit connector A (22P) No. 15 terminal and left power sliding door pinch sensor 2P connector No. 1 terminal.
Is there continuity?
YES - Go to step 9.
NO - Repair an open in the wire.
9. Check for continuity between the left power sliding door control unit connector A (22P) No. 19 terminal and left power sliding door pinch sensor 2P connector No. 2 terminal.
Is there continuity?
YES - Replace the left power sliding door control unit.
NO - Repair an open in the wire.
