Second Row Seat

Second Row Seat Disassembly/Reassembly

Special Tools Required
KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *
* Available through the American Honda Tool and Equipment Program

NOTE:
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components.
- Take care not to tear the seams of damage the seat covers.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove the head restraint.




2. Remove the beverage holder (A).




3. Remove the outer recline cover (A).
1. Remove the clip (B), then remove the recline knob (C).
2. Remove the bolts (D) and screw (E).
3. Remove the screw (F), then remove the beverage holder subbracket (G).




4. Remove the outer center cover (A).
1. Detach the clips (B).
2. Pull up the cover, then release the hooks (C, D).




5. Remove the inner recline cover C (A).
1. Remove the screw, then remove the knob (B).
2. Remove the screw, then remove the inner recline cover C.
3. Disconnect the outer lock release cable (C) and inner lock release cable (D) from the knob.




6. Remove the seat-back (A).
1. Remove the push nut (B), then remove the third row seat access cable (C).
2. Remove the bolts (D) and pivot bolt (E), then remove the seat-back and pivot bushing (F).
3. Lift the seat-back, then pull the third row seat access cable, out through the hole in the seat-back frame (G).




7. If necessary, remove the inner center cover (A) and inner recline cover (B).
1. Remove the seat cushion cover
2. Remove the screws (C), then remove the inner center cover and inner recline cover.
3. Remove the nuts (D) and wire ties (E), then separate the seat cushion frame (F) and seat tracks/seat riser (G).
4. Lift the seat cushion frame, then pull the third row seat access cable (H), out through the hole (I).

8. Assemble the seat-back and seat cushion in the reverse order of disassembly, and note these items:
- Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips into place securely.
- Apply multipurpose grease to the moving parts of the seat-track.
- To prevent wrinkles in the seat cushion cover, stretch the material evenly over the pad.
