Interior - Driver's Memory Seat Inoperative

Driver's Position Memory System Does Not Work
SYMPTOMS
Seat memory button 1 does not work:
^ You cannot program seat position button 1.
^ When you press seat position button 1,the light in the button does not come on.
^ You press seat memory button 2, and the seat moves, then you press seat memory button 1, and the seat does not move.
PROBABLE CAUSE
There is a loose terminal, pin 13, in connector C632 in driver's door wire harness A.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace driver's door wire harness A.

Any repair performed after warranty expiration may be eligible for goodwill consideration by the District Parts and Service Manager or your Zone Office. You must request consideration, and get a decision, before starting work.
DIAGNOSIS
1. Remove the driver's door panel:
^ Refer to page 20-8 of the 2007 Odyssey Service Manual, or
^ Online, enter keywords DOOR PANEL REM, and select Front Door Panel Removal/Installation from the list.
2. Remove the vapor barrier.
3. Using a flashlight, inspect terminal No. 13 (the BLU wire) of connector C632. Gently tug on the BLU wire to check if the terminal is loose in the connector.
^ If terminal No. 13 is loose, install the new door wire harness.
^ If terminal No. 13 is OK, continue with normal troubleshooting.
4. Install all of the removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
^ Make sure the vapor barrier is installed properly and that it is sealed around its outside perimeter.
^ Check if the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
^ Make sure the windows and the power door locks operate properly.
5. Check the driver's position memory system for proper operation.
