REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Pull the top of the tailgate weatherstrip off the body where the headliner has pulled away.

2. Remove the cargo area light.

3. Pull down the headliner just enough for the detached clips to be visible.

4. Remove from the headliner and the clip any excess glue, which may interfere with the headliner mating flat with the clip.

5. Spread epoxy on the bottom of the clips while they are still connected to the body.

NOTE:
The epoxy has a 4-minute working time.

6. Press the headliner back into place, and apply pressure to the glued area using a clamp such as a Quick Grip clamp (commercially available) and a piece of plastic (or equivalent) measuring at least 6 inches square. Let it cure for 1 hour. Do not pull on the headliner for 24 hours.

7. Reinstall the cargo area light.

8. Reattach the tailgate weatherstrip.
