Door Grip Paint is Peeling

SYMPTOM

The paint on the door grip is peeling.


PROBABLE CAUSE

Chemicals such as sunscreen are reacting with the paint.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Replace the door grip.

REPAIR PROCEDURE





1. Using the appropriate trim tool, pry off the upper and lower caps from the door grip. Remove the two screws from the grip, and then remove the grip.
