Surface Variation

Warpage

If warpage is between 0.05 mm (0.002 in.) and 0.2 mm (0.008 in.), resurface the cylinder head.
Maximum resurface limit is 0.2 mm (0.008 in.) based on a height of 104 mm (4.09 in.).

Main Bearing

Torque 29 N-m (3.0 kgf-m, 22 lbf-ft)

Tighten the bearing cap bolts an additional 56°.

Connecting Rod

Torque 20 N-m (2.0 kgf-m, 14 lbf-ft)

Each rod has a tolerance range from 0 to 0.024 mm (0.0009 in.), in 0.006 mm (0.0002 in.) increments, depending on the size of its big end bore. It's then stamped with a number or bar (1, 2, 3, or 4/I, II, III, or IIII) indicating the range. You may find any combination of numbers and bars in any engine.
