Cabin Noise Cancellation Control Module: Service and Repair
Active Noise Control Unit Removal/InstallationNOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the headliner and display cover.
- Lay a workshop towel under the parts when working on them to protect the face panel from scratches or other damage.
'07 model and '08 model with premium audio system
1. Remove the audio unit (with navigation) or center pocket (without navigation).
2. Disconnect the connector (A), then remove the bolts and the active noise control unit (B).
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
'08 model without premium audio system
1. Remove the glove box.
2. While pushing the tab (A), pull the lever (B) up and disconnect connector (C).
3. Detach the connector clip (D).
4. Loosen the mounting bolt (E), and remove the mounting nut (F), then remove the active noise control unit (G).
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
