DTC B1126: Driver's Power Window Motor Pulse Error

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.

1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Open and close the power window by using the driver's switch manually.
3. Select the POWER WINDOWS from the BODY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SELECT menu and enter DATA LIST.
4. While the window is moving, check the DETECT/NONE information of the DRIVER'S POWER WINDOW MOTOR PULSE in the DATA LIST.

Does the information indicator display DETECT?

YES - The door multiplex control unit is faulty; replace the power window master switch.

NO - Go to step 5.

5. Do the driver's power window motor pulser test.

Is it OK?

YES - Go to step 6.

NO - Replace the driver's power window motor.

6. Disconnect the 23P connector from the power window master switch, and the 6P connector from the driver's power window motor.
7. Check for continuity between the power window master switch 23P connector and driver's power window motor 6P connector as follows.






Is there continuity?

YES - Go to step 8.

NO Repair an open in the wire.

8. Check for continuity between the power window master switch 23P connector No. 4, No. 6, and No. 17 terminals and body ground individually.






Is there continuity?

YES - Repair a short in the wire.

NO - Substitute a known-good power window master switch, and recheck. If the DTC Is gone, the original door multiplex control unit is faulty; replace the power window master switch. If the DTC Is still indicated, replace the driver's power window motor.
