DTC 92

DTC 92: F-CAN System

1. Check the PGM-FI DTCs.

Are any DTCs indicated?

YES - Troubleshoot the PGM-FI DTCs, then recheck.

NO - Go to step 2.

2. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
3. Turn the ignition switch OFF, then turn it ON (II).
4. Connect the HDS, and check for DTCs with the HDS.

Does the VSA indicator come on, and is DTC 92 indicated?

YES - Check for loose terminals in the VSA modulator-control unit 46P connector. If connections are good, replace the VSA modulator-control unit.

NO - intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
