Rear Seat Cushion Disassembly/ReassemblySpecial Tools Required
KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *
* Available through the American Honda Tool and Equipment Program
NOTE:
- Take care not to tear the seams or damage the seat covers.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components.
1. Remove the bolts, then separate the rear seat-back (A) and rear seat cushion (B).
2. Remove the bolts (A, B), then separate the left seat-back (C) and right seat-back (D).
3. Remove the screw. Release the tabs (A) and hooks (B), then remove the recline outer cover (C).
NOTE: The left seat cushion is shown; the right seat cushion is similar.
4. Remove the screw, then remove the recline inner cover (A).
5. Pull back the rear seat cushion under-cover trim (A) to release the hooks (B), and release the hooks (C), then remove it.
6. Remove the rear seat cushion under-cover (A).
1. Using a trim tool, remove the caps (B).
2. Remove the screws (C, D).
3. Release the hook strips (E) of the seat cushion cover from the under-cover.
7. Remove the rear seat cushion handle.
8. Release the hooks (A) securing the seat cushion cover.
9. Separate the seat cushion frame (A) and seat cushion cover/pad (B).
10. Assemble the seat cushion in the reverse order of disassembly, and note these items:
- To prevent wrinkles in the seat cushion cover, stretch the material evenly over the pad.
- Push each cover hooks and tabs into place securely.
