Diagnostic Procedure:

1. Check and/or replace the MTF. MTF Inspection and Replacement

2. Check the detent ball springs. Manual Transmission Disassembly

3. Check the teeth of the synchro rings and gears. Synchro Ring and Gear Inspection

4. Check for bent, deform, or damage of the shift forks.
