Navigation System DTC Troubleshooting: 2608
DTC 2608: Rear Camera Diag
NOTE:
- Check the vehicle battery condition first.

1. Clear the hard error code. How To Troubleshoot The Navigation System (With Navigation)
2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II).
3. Go into the Diagnostic Menu, and select the Self-Diagnosis Mode in the Select Diagnosis Items menu. Navigation System Diagnostic Mode (With Navigation)
4. Check the System Links.
Is the Rear camera icon red?
YES - Go to step 5.
NO - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. If the unit repeatedly comes back with the DTC, replace the audio-navigation unit. Audio-Navigation Unit Removal/Installation (With Navigation)
5. Check for poor connection or loose terminal at the rearview camera 12P connector.
Are the connections OK?
YES - Go to step 6.
NO - Repair poor connection or loose terminal.
6. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
7. Disconnect rearview camera 12P connector.
8. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
9. Measure the voltage between rearview camera 12P connector terminal No. 12 and body ground.
Is there about 3.0 V?
YES - Replace the rearview camera. Service and Repair
NO - Go to step 10.
10. Measure the voltage between audio-navigation unit connector G (7P) terminal No. 7 and body ground.
Is there about 3.0 V?
YES - Repair open in the wire between the audio-navigation unit and the rearview camera.
NO - Replace the audio-navigation unit. Audio-Navigation Unit Removal/Installation (With Navigation)
