SRS DTC Troubleshooting: Ex-11 (x can be 0 thru 9 or A thru F)

DTC Ex-11 ("x" can be 0 thru 9 or A thru F):Control Operation Recorded

NOTE:

- Control operation recordings occur during a vehicle collision. In some collisions and airbag or tensioner may deploy. Refer to Component Replacement/Inspection After Deployment Service and Repair for a complete list of other pars that must also be replaced.

1. Clear the DTC memory. Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), then wait for 10 seconds.

3. Read the DTC. Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

Is DTC Ex-11 indicated?
YES - Faulty SRS unit; replace the SRS unit. SRS Unit Replacement

NO - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Go to Troubleshooting Intermittent Failures. Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview If another DTC is indicated, troubleshoot the DTC.
