Diagnostic Procedure:

1. Do the ECM/PCM idle learn procedure. ECM/PCM Idle Learn Procedure

2. Check the fuel pressure. Testing and Inspection

3. Check the idle speed. Testing and Inspection

4. Troubleshoot the brake pedal position switch signal circuit. Brake Pedal Position Switch Signal Circuit Troubleshooting

Also check for:

- Intake air leaks
- Faulty harness and sensor connections
- Fuel contamination
