Diagnostic Procedure:

1. Check for loose battery terminals or connections.

2. Test the battery for a low state of charge. Testing and Inspection

3. Check the PGM-FI main relays. Testing and Inspection

4. Check the starter. Component Tests and General Diagnostics

5. Check the starter cut relay. Testing and Inspection

6. Check the transmission range switch (A/T model). Transmission Range Switch Test (A/T)

7. Check the clutch interlock switch (M/T model). Clutch Interlock Switch Test (M/T)

8. Check the ignition switch or wire. Ignition Switch Test

Also check for:

- Poor ground at G101 (A/T model) or G502 (M/T model)
