Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures




Ignition switch cannot be moved from ACCESSORY (I) to LOCK (0) (key is pushed in, the shift lever in P)

Diagnostic Procedure:

1. Interlock control system circuit

2. Key interlock solenoid stuck ON

3. Park pin switch stuck OFF

4. Transmission range switch

Also check for:

- Troubleshoot the key interlock system circuit. Interlock System - Key Interlock System Circuit Troubleshooting
- Inspect the transmission range switch. Transmission Range Switch Test (A/T)
